ESAT La Pradelle

The ESAT* La Pradelle is a medical-social establishment that offers various activities and professional training to disabled people. The aim of the ESAT is to give them access to life in society. The various workshops aim to develop both learning and social integration.

The particularity of "La Pradelle" is that it has a specific approval to welcome adults suffering from autism and/or related disorders, as such it welcomes at least 70% of people with these disabilities.

For the association Sésame Autisme Languedoc Roussillon, leaving these people on the sidelines because of their difficulties was not acceptable. Everything was done to open this establishment in 1987, which provided an adapted and original response in the region. Becoming an adult with autism was no longer an insurmountable obstacle to one's future.

The ESAT in Cévennes has a capacity of 37 places and is organized around 6 major workshops: the inn, the delicatessen, the pastry shop, the self, the firewood, the arboriculture/breeding/market gardening and complementary activities.
