Powerful without being pungent, this very special pepper was born in the heart of Cévennes, at Christian and Brigitte's home. In the mouth, the spicy side of this jelly quickly gives way to sweeter, caramelised aromas.
A wonderful combination that we loved to try: cheese and sweet pepper jelly.
Christian and Brigitte are farmers in the Gard. Between Alès and Anduze, they have given birth to this variety which follows very strict specifications and a precise production process: picked when ripe, the chilli is dried for 2 to 3 weeks before being stemmed, deseeded and then ground finely and slowly.
Ingredient: Organic chilli pepper infusion from Cévennes organic white wine 48%, organic sugar 42%.
